Best of Travel Blogs

I am just planning a number of trips in the next few months (couple of Coast to Coasttrips and one to Europe and South America respectively) and given how much of an airline geek I am, I thought I would share some of the tools I use and blogs I read with  my readers. I [...]

Boing Boing TV Heading to Virgin America

According to Airline Biz, Boing Boing TV has partnered with Virgin America to provide:
“cheeky exploration of the world through Internet culture, DIY technology and geeky curiosities” through inflight daily video reports with the same irreverent and eclectic content that has struck a cord with pop culture junkies on BoingBoing.net.

Would be nice if they added Kajak or Mobissimo to the mix, but an interesting new function nevertheless.
Update: You [...]

Fire at Schiphol Airport

My home airport tends to see a lot of people who get arrested while smuggling drugs into Europe. Usually, they are already living a sad existence before they get there. Now a fire broke out in a prison on the airport.
