Google has issued a statement by its European Director of Communications and Pulbic affairs about the Belgian Court ruling in favor of the Belgian newspapers and against Google’s News service.

Bloglines, Feedemon, Newsgator etc. Watch out. Google Reader has just re-launched with a completely new layout and setup. It now looks very much like Newsgator or Bloglines.
This might be a game chaging event in the RSS space. Google definitely has the power to push a lot more people to using RSS than anybody else.

Google keeps adding new features. CNet reports that one can now type in two different airport codes and the search then returns a box to enter dates and the option to search Expedia, Hotwire and Orbitz. Would be nice if they added Kajak or Mobissimo to the mix, but an interesting new function nevertheless.
