CNN enters the garment business: sells shirts from its homepage
April 22, 2008 |
Somebody please explain this to me, but why there a link behind some headlines on the CNN homepage that allows me to buy the headline on a T-Shirt.
Or maybe that’s just a dumb question - after all, who doesn’t want a “Rep calls workers ‘illiterate peasants” t-shirt. Especially when you can get them in black, white and gray, and you can chose between men’s and women’s small, medium, large and extra large. And all of that for only $15 plus tax and S&H fees through CNN’s partner SpreadShirt.
Of course, they are also collector’s items, given that according to the FAQ, the shirts are only available for as long as the headline stays in the news section.
