A social network for those who love ghosts, UFOs and those voices from the afterlife
I checked – it’s not April 1st just yet, but TechCrunch reports that Steven Spielberg is involved in the launch of a social network for those who loves everything paranormal:
Hollywood super producer Steven Spielberg is preparing to launch a new social network, we’ve heard from multiple sources. The focus will be on users who’ve had or who are interested in sharing paranormal and extraterrestrial experiences. The new social network may also have original video content investigating alleged ghost and UFO stories.
My first thought was: Do we really need a specialized social network for people who believe in the paranormal? But then I realized that this is a brilliant idea. It’s going to draw all the kooks away from the regular social networks so that they can gather in their own echochamber full of Greys, with alien cities underneath it (just like Mt. Shasta), and UFO’s hovering above it while discussing where Elvis is hanging out these days.
Judging from the design of most sites pandering to the paranormaly inclined, there will be an animated black background with centered text. Actually, thinking about it – I predict it will look pretty much like MySpace – just more sinister.
