GeekBrief now showing on CrunchGear?

I must have missed this a few days ago, but for reasons I can’t quite figure out, GeekBrief (the slightly annoying, not very technical show about gadgets that most geeks probably only watch because there is a girl on it) is now cross-posting its episodes on Mike Arrington’s (still mostly commentless) CrunchGear site.

Weird synergy going on there.

While CrunchGear is getting more hits every month, viewers hardly ever leave comments there.

And Geekbrief, well, it’s really not my cup of tea – probably isn’t meant to be, but I mostly find the show annoying and the fact that they are affiliated with PodShow makes me dislike them by default.

Why are they teaming up together? No idea, unless we are to gather from this that Crunchgear is going for the same relatively low-end geek as GeekBrief.

You’re right. I’m honored when geeks at any level watch and enjoy GeekBrief.TV, but my goal is to bridge the gap between the technically savvy and the casually interested. I want to bring people into the world of technology, help them to feel comfortable with it, and ultimately to fall in love. In short, my goal is to expand the borders of geekdom.
