Is Technorati Keeping an Eye on the Technorati Train

The newest meme to come out of the dirty underbelly of blogging (=PayPerPost/ReviewMe/RentMyBlog/PayU2Blog etc.) is the Technorati Train.

HomeMom3 here has jumped on it.

Basically, it is a system that games the Technorati Most Favorited List. Why does this make a difference? Because it games a good system, just like the fact that all the PayPerPost bloggers add each other to their blogrolls to game their Google and Technorati rankings. Why does that matter? Because PayPerPost advertisers are looking for people with high Pageranks so that their money for SEO is well spend.

Here is how the Technorati Train works according to its big promotor, Garryconn:

RULE #1: Before you do anything, scroll down to the comments section and click the names of everyone on the list. When you click the names it will immediately forward you to the Technorati Faves page where you
can click “Add To My Favorites” which will add their sites into your Technorati Favorites.

 

RULE #2: After you have added everyone on the comments list to your Technorati Favorites. You will need to SUBSCRIBE TO THE POST FEED. You can either subscribe to receive this feed in your RSS READER or you can subscribe to receive an EMAIL NOTIFICATION. *You have to subscribe to the feed so that you can be notified when someone new is added to the list. When you receive the notification, you can count on the fact that the newly added person has already added you to their Technorati Faves!. Upon receiving the notification you can quickly click on the newly added user’s name and instanly be transfered to the Technorati Page to add the newly added user to your Technorati Favorites. The Process is simple and as easy as it gets!

 

RULE #3: After you have completed RULE #1 and RULE #2 you are now ready to add your name to the list! To add your name to the list, simply use this contact form below.

Please include you name, email address and website address. In the message of the contact form please include your Technorati Faves URL.
