Release them. Put them on YouTube. As I said earlier, I was surprised Cho didn’t put them there in the first place.

I fully agree with Dave Winer, Doc Searls and Jeff Jarvis that we live in an age now where NBC should not hold any power over what, when and where we can see anything. While the news media still control the eyeballs of millions of people (think local news programs), there are enough alternatives out there.

I don’t need NBC to tell me what I can and can’t see. If I don’t want to see something, I just don’t watch it.

Jeff Jarvis says:

And let’s not presume that we all need NBC or anyone to protect us from life as it is. But we do need to make sure to educate our children to be media-wise in a new media world. They will need to judge who the bad people are in life just as they will online. They need to understand that media is no longer a pasteurized and packaged version of life but life itself, witih all its benefits and dangers.

But it is going to take a long time for the mainstream outlets to realize that.

After listening to the “life” of Cho, I wonder, do we need to take a close look at social behavior in our schools? If we do, how do we stop the onslaught of harrassment by one student to another. I know this to be a very troubling problem. What can the school administration legally do in any situation? Their hands, and mouth are legally bound.
