Twit Out

While everybody is abuzz over Twitter these days, I came, saw, and never returned.
I guess I am becoming an old fart, but I really don’t see the point. I want to see the point. I want it to be useful to me, but I just can’t find any reason to use it.
So now I can follow what Leo Laporte is doing today. Now I know he had Tandoori chicken yesterday. Why do I need that kind of info? With the complete overload of information we get day in and day out, do I need to know that much extra trivia?
I guess there are legitimate uses for this - maybe it is a good way of staying in touch with friend (the few friends I have are not very techie, so there is no point in getting them to use this). For now, I am opting out of this craze and instead I am going to see my doctor for a physical. Going to be fun.
