Vista Backlash?
February 28, 2007 |
Chris Pirillo is having some problems with Vista. Of course, the things he complaints about are mostly incompatible software and drivers (HP drivers that are known not to work yet - my 1020 Laserjet is still waiting for a Vista driver). Maybe he should have done a bit more research before upgrading.
I “upgraded” my machine over the weekend (even though I mostly use Linux). Both Vista and Office 2007 and quite a joy to use. So far, nothing has come along that didn’t work (except for the driver problem). Hell, even my Nvidia card seems to work just fine with drivers from Nvidia.
Before you take the plunge, though, make damn sure your soft- and hardware is supported. This isn’t linux after all
