Bumfight

Jason Calacanis also points out that Hewlett Packard works with PayPerPost and had a lady write “I (Heart) HP” on her forehead. He likens it to bumfights and say HP should be ashamed of itself.
I like the analogy. PPP does abuse its users and their need for money for its own, easy, amoral profiteering.
I went slumming on the PPP forums to see what the reaction there is like. Interestingly, there is none. The Posties aren’t even talking about it, which is very different from earlier reactions I have seen there. Interesting, but I don’t know what to make out of it, except that it strengthens my point that PPP and its users don’t care about the blogosphere.
One interesting part of the forum, though, is the “Favorite Ops” forum where Posties discuss their favorite ‘oportunities.’ For the rest of us, its a good way of seeing what companies use PPP.
