The Microsoft Laptop Crisis
If you want to see a good run-down of the different opinions regarding the Microsoft laptop giveaway/loaner program, just read the comments on Scoble’s blog.
Here is my basic stance:
If it was a loaner to begin with – it’s fine with me.
If it was meant to be a gift – it was a bribe and unethical.
Overall, Microsoft bought itself some great negative publicity with this.
