Apple Backlash?

The Apple announcements today are not exactly spectacular. That is of course part of the Apple syndrom right now. The faithful expect Apple to top itself with every new announcement and when the mythical wide and touchscreen iPod fails to materialize, the ‘Boooos’ can heard all over the internet.

And so it was today. We got movies, an updated iPod (longer battery life, bigger screen), but nothing really spectacualr.

I for one think the upgrade to iTunes is great, but I will review it once it becomes available for download.

ANd then Steve comes through and announces a wireless set-top box for TVs… for Q1 2007… an iTV Mac Mini… half the size… and not an autonomous computer.
