Vivapop: Born to Flop
Sorry, I couldn’t help but trying to find a rhyming title. TechCrunch today reports on a new Web 2.0 calendaring site: Vivapop. Besides that the market is already oversaturated with calendars (see the sale of Kiko to Tucows), the fact that they will charge $10 a month for their service will be written on their gravestone within the next year. Come on guys, maybe you offer synching, but so does airset.com, and that is a free service and rumor is even the GCalendar will do this soon.
Oh, and before I plop down $10, I want to see more than a demo, I want to actually use it, even if it is just for 10 minutes.
